Child Protection

There may be rare occasions when staff in school are very concerned about the welfare or safety of a particular child.  In these circumstances, it is the legal responsibility of the Headteacher to protect the child by referring such concerns to the appropriate agency, usually Social Care Services, sometimes without telling you.

It is also policy to contact Social Care Services if any child has not been collected by 4.30pm; this is so that emergency care provision can be made.
